The Frog Squire Choir
Free Cycles and the Wonder-Gizmos are putting on a play and potluck at 7 PM September 5th and 6th with a matinee at 4 PM on the 7th, packed with warmth, whimsy, and environmentalist themes. In the months leading up to our play, we're inviting everybody, yes everybody--folks of all ages, experience levels and backgrounds--to set the stage with us, literally.

Kaitlynn Radloff of Sabertooth Studios, ladypajama, Zola Kell and Taylor Stein will lead us through a series of free arts workshops focused on sustainable arts practices such as potato printing, sculpting with recycled materials, natural dying processes, and more. Please reference the flyer for a full list of dates and times or follow @freecyclesmissoula and/or @taylor_stein__ on Instagram for updates.

We introduced ourselves to Missoula at the Wild Walk Parade as frogs riding a two-seater bike transformed into a butterfly through organic and recycled materials, love, and elbow grease. It's not too late to create your own frog bicycle helmet, to keep or contribute to our play. Please check out this how to video for instructions.

There are lots of opportunities to join the play itself. We need a Chorus of bike-riding Frogs, dancing Flowers and Crops, and enough Townsfolk to chase off even the most determined Capitalist. All ages are welcome. This commitment includes 3 performances the first weekend of September and 4 rehearsals, which will take place on the preceding Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:30 (Aug 13th, 20th, 27th, Dress Rehearsal Sept the 3rd).

Finally, we owe a debt of gratitude to Emily and Donald of String and Shadow Puppet Theater, whose performances stunned and inspired us to try and bring their wonderous, wild brand of theater magic to Missoula.
